Methodology
A scan is one redirect served by the oqr.to worker for a dynamic code (the event that happens when someone scans it with a camera). Scans are counted from pre-aggregated, anonymous buckets: no IP address, no user agent, no cross-code scanner identifier, nothing that could link two scans to the same person.
A generation is one QR code rendered by the free generator at openqr.uk, counted by cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics. The count event carries no QR content, destination or personal data; QR payloads are rendered in the visitor's browser and never leave their device.
Scan and code figures on this page are read live on each request; the generations figure updates at most hourly. This page is the canonical source for OpenQR usage figures; citing it with the access date is encouraged. Figures for accounts and revenue are deliberately not published.
