Up to 15 characters; accents are converted visibly.

Optional subfield in the payload, up to 25 characters.
· Enter your PIX key.
· Enter a name for the recipient.
· Enter a city.
Enter your PIX key, your name and city, and an optional amount, and download a free PIX QR code that any Brazilian banking app can scan and pay in seconds. You also get the copia e cola string — the same payment details as text — for customers who prefer to paste it. Everything is generated in your browser: your key is never sent anywhere, and there is no sign-up and no watermark.
To make yours:
Enter your PIX key
CPF, CNPJ, email, +55 mobile number or random key (EVP) — exactly as registered with your bank.
Add name and city
The recipient name (up to 25 characters) and city (up to 15) shown in the payer's app. Accents are converted — São Paulo becomes Sao Paulo — because the BR Code character set is plain ASCII.
Set an amount (optional)
Leave it empty and the payer chooses how much; set it and the app opens with the value pre-filled. Decimal separator is a dot.
Download and scan-test
PNG for screens, SVG for print at any size. Scan it with your own bank app before printing.
What a static PIX code is
The QR pattern encodes the payment instruction itself — your key and the optional amount — in the BR Code format defined in the Banco Central do Brasil manual. It works forever as long as the key stays registered. It is not dynamic: the amount cannot change per transaction, and nothing is tracked. If you need per-transaction amounts or payment confirmation, your bank or PSP issues a dynamic PIX, which is a different product.
Alongside the image, the generator gives you the full BR Code payload as text. In Brazil this is known as PIX copia e cola (copy and paste): customers paste it into their bank's send-money screen and the payment is pre-filled, no scanning needed. The QR code and the string carry identical information — one is the same data as a picture. Offering both is standard practice for stickers, table plaques and WhatsApp ordering.
Three things cause almost every failed static PIX code. First, a typo in the key: this generator checks CPF and CNPJ check digits and warns you before you print. Second, an amount with a comma: the spec uses a dot (10.50, not 10,50) — the form fixes that for you. Third, accents in the name or city: the character set allows plain ASCII, so the generator converts them visibly (José becomes Jose) rather than emitting a code some apps reject.
Selling across Europe as well? The EPC (SEPA) generator builds the eurozone equivalent, and the UPI generator the Indian one — all three live in the payment QR codes section. For anything that is not a payment, the WhatsApp generator and the main free generator cover the rest. Going to print? Check the print-size guide first.
